The Head of School is a visionary instructional and operational leader who will build and maintain an organizational culture that challenges and motivates staff, students and families to achieve academic excellence, develop as people and positively impact the communities in which they live. S/he will oversee all aspects of the school’s health, including but not limited to: enacting the school’s vision and mission, managing the school day to day, overseeing the realization of personalized academic goals and outcomes for all students, partnering with the board to meet the school’s fundraising and other financial goals, guiding staff and student culture, being accountable to the school’s authorizer and board, and building external relationships as needed to support school goals. S/he will work closely with the Director of Academics & Experience to plan and design SF’s innovative curriculum, and design and implement teacher training and coaching for effective curriculum implementation.
